You can also go ahead and fill out what you know, then come back later, using the “Resources” tab on the Downtown family website, and fill in anything else you would like to add about yourself or other family members

ADMINISTRATION MINISTRY

Computer Systems: Ability to maintain computer hardware and software needs.
Office Assistance: Help in church office when needed or for special congregational needs.
New ministries: Assist when the need for development of new ministry areas is realized.

BODY LIFE MINISTRY


Fellowship:
    -Organize and oversee congregational fellowships;
    -Assist with set-up / clean-up of congregational fellowships.
Singing for Weddings / Funerals: Group singing at weddings and funerals. What part do you sing?
Welcome Center Host & Greeting: Provide manpower at the welcome center(s) to extend a welcome and to provide information about the Downtown family to guests.
Prayer ministry: Be active participant in the ministry / prayer life of the Downtown body.
Provide Meals: Special needs to those experiencing crisis (deaths / hospital) or in need.

Specific Ministries: Interest in being involved with one of the ministry areas noted below:
   - Twenties (Over 20 and Under 30 / Not Married)
   - Singles (Over 30)
   - Over 50s
   - Women’s’ Ministry: Interest in development / continuation, growth and expansion of this ministry

COMMUNICATIONS MINISTRY

Public Relations: Help write, edit or publish articles and promotion material or newsletters.
Audio / Video: Help with video / audio operation and / or production of church services and activities (special events, weddings, etc)
Photography: Help take photos of church activities / individuals; photo shoots for directory.
Web site: Help in web site maintenance and service / keeping information current and relevant.

EDUCATION MINISTRY

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK NOTIFICATION: Please note that in all areas that involve interaction and contact with children and those with special needs, full Criminal Background Checks will be conducted.

FACILITIES MINISTRY

Building & Grounds: Maintenance, lawn care, and beautification of building / grounds, including the parking lots.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintenance, service, washing / cleaning of Downtown’s vehicles (buses & vans) and trailer.
Van Driver: Help drive church van to transport members to worship assemblies.
Bus Driver: Drive church buses (must have Commercial Driver's License).
Kitchen: Assist in keeping the kitchen in good working order, supplied, clean and secure / safe.
Construction: Assist with concepts / master plan implementation as needed;
Capital Fund Raising: Assist with capital campaigns and implementation as needed.

OUTREACH MINISTRY

Jail Ministry: Conduct Bible studies and assemblies within local jails or those released.
Benevolence: Assistance with and follow-up contact with families requesting aid through our pantry and benevolence ministry.
Hospitality / Visitation: Visit with those new to town, looking for a church home and new members.
Christian Health Ministry: Information on serving as a medical volunteer, office worker, greeter / encourager and cleaning, etc. with this medical outreach clinic. This may include Sunday hours of operation and follow-up times.
Outreach Events: Assist the Outreach Minister (Tim Curtis) in planning / facilitating and caring out events aimed at outreach and evangelism.
Small Groups: Becoming involved in Small Group Bible study / fellowship groups.
Searcy Children’s Home: Interest in helping with the various needs of this ministry as they are made known (substitute house parents, relief house parents, etc.).
Loaves & Fishes Ministry: Volunteer to help serve in this ministry to bridge the Downtown church family to families in our community through a Sunday afternoon (1-4 p.m.) food bank.
Celebrate Recovery: a Christ-centered recovery program designed to help people address a variety of hurts, habits and hang-ups.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers): MOPS is a time for all moms of birth through preschool age children to get “recharged”.

STUDENT MINISTRY

Bibles for Babies: Distributing Bibles to newborns in the hospital.
Nursery: take care of babies during services and classes.
  Lads to Leaders Ministry: Development of our young people for service in the Church

- Help administer the program
  University Ministry: Help with the overall program for university students
- Host a class

- Be a Host Family to a university student

- Host a fellowship time for students
