Bethany and her family moved to Searcy in 2010 to open a local restaurant. She had no idea how much she would fall in love with our community. When the Lord led them to close their restaurant, she was thrilled He opened the door for her to join the staff of Downtown at the end of 2016.

She and her husband Scott were married in 1988. Most of their married life has been spent in some sort of full time vocational ministry, so joining our staff was like coming home. They have two children, Brianna and Brady, a son-in-love Derek and a granddaughter Hattie Lu. They are looking forward to their second grandchild due in June of 2017.

Her passion is to serve the body of Christ and to encourage others to live with a Kingdom mindset. Most of her spare time is spent cooking for friends and family, writing or studying the Word.
